Reason to be cheerful number one...

A gazebo still dripping in roses - they seem to have lasted longer this year considering they started so much earlier :)

Reason to be cheerful number two...

A new pink trug - just waiting to be filled with weeds and prunings.

Reason to be cheerful number three...

A plant theatre just waiting to be filled with cuttings and houseplants placed outside for their Summer holidays!

Reason to be cheerful number four...

My son came to the caravan with me to do some DIY - "You've made this look nice and homey, Mom."

Reason to be cheerful number five...

Am almost packed and just waiting for Stephen to come home early from work. We are caravanning for two nights in Calamity Jane. Hot chocolate, plenty of tea, a bottle of wine, books, binoculars and our sketching pads are packed - can't wait - see you on Sunday :)

L.x.

Take time to be friendly - it is the road to happiness.

Take time to dream - it is hitching your wagon to a star.

Take time to love and to be loved - it is the privilege of the Gods.

Take time to look around - it is too short a day to be selfish.

Take time to laugh - it is the music of the soul.

(An old English saying).

I didn't know that those wonderful buckets were called trugs. I have got them in several sizes and colors now that the price came down here. Trug! The name is fun, too....
